"She makes for herself coverlets, cushions, and rugs of tapestry.
Her clothing is of linen, pure and fine, and of purple [such as that of which the clothing of the priests and the hallowed cloths of the temple were made]."
What are you making for yourself? Are you making time for yourself? Are you caring for yourself in all the ways that you should? "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Coverlets represent bedspreads that we use to cover and decorate our beds. What are you covering your marital bed with? I hope you're using a fitted sheet of forgiveness, a flat sheet of faithfulness, pillows of patience, and a blanket of kindness. Have you learned how to make (cultivate) these yet? And are there cushions of self-control strewn about and enhancing the attractiveness of that bed? And the rug underneath the bed - it represents the foundation of your covenant - is it made and laid in righteousness?
Make (pray and manifest) these things for your marital bed. Dress yourself in linen (righteousness that's pure and fine), and purple: healing, and noble actions that show that you are led by Holy Spirit. These are things that we can do, for the creativity is in our hands (heart)! Clothe yourself daily in peace, faith, integrity, worship, knowledge of your salvation, the Blood of the Lamb, and prayer.
